Ingredients:

  • 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. To assemble the sandwich, spread the sour cream on one slice of bread.
  5. Top with the steak, cheese, and chives.
  6. Top with the other slice of bread.
  7. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • You can use any type of steak for this recipe. I like to use flank steak, but sirloin or ribeye would also be good options.
  • If you don’t have sour cream, you can substitute mayonnaise.
  • You can also add other toppings to your sandwich, such as bacon, avocado, or grilled onions.

Enjoy!
