Ingredients:
- 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- To assemble the sandwich, spread the sour cream on one slice of bread.
- Top with the steak, cheese, and chives.
- Top with the other slice of bread.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
Tips:
- You can use any type of steak for this recipe. I like to use flank steak, but sirloin or ribeye would also be good options.
- If you don’t have sour cream, you can substitute mayonnaise.
- You can also add other toppings to your sandwich, such as bacon, avocado, or grilled onions.
